Apple’s iWork Apps Will Be Available for Free On New iOS Devices
Apple on Tuesday said the company is making all of its iWork apps—Pages, Keynote, Numbers and iMovie—free for new iPad, iPhone or fifth gen iPod touches. The move is no doubt in response to Microsoft’s popular Office suite, which comes on many mobile Windows 8 devices without charge. Apple’s suite of productivity apps have evolved into viable solutions over the years, and with so much focus on mobile, it’s no surprise to see Apple focus on getting the apps into as many hands as possible.
